Business Skills Hub
Project Business Skills Hub is implemented for the period 2021-2024 by AFAD, with the financial support of the European Union and co-financing by Sweden through the East Europe Foundation within the project "Civil society contributes to inclusive and sustainable economic development in the Republic of Moldova".

The project aims to contribute to the development of a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing economic development opportunities for SMEs in the Northern region through:
- Stimulating entrepreneurship and strengthening business management skills by creating a business accelerator and providing technical support to young entrepreneurs in the Northern region.
- Increasing the competitiveness of SMEs in the Northern Region by facilitating access to specialised consultancy services on various economic issues and stimulating the creation of value chains.
ESC Center
The Employment and Integration Support Centre "ESC" is implemented in the period 2023-2024 within the project "Strengthening social cohesion and resilience of the Republic of Moldova to the Ukrainian refugee crisis" funded by AFD (Agence française de développement) and FDF (Fondation de France).

The aim of the project is the socio-occupational integration of refugees from Ukraine and vulnerable people from the local community.
During the project 400 Ukrainian refugees and vulnerable people will learn about the support they can benefit from for socio-vocational integration, 180 people are to be trained, retrained or retrained professionally and consulted in the field of employment. 30 Ukrainian refugees and vulnerable people are to be employed and 150 children and adults able to integrate socio-economically.
Women Digital Center
Women Digital Center Balti is a digital education and entrepreneurship project for women opened by AFAD.
Women Digital Center Balti is a digital education and entrepreneurship project for women opened by AFAD in 2020 within the Women Digital Center project, implemented by the University Information Center, with the financial support of Orange Fondation.
Digital Education for Young People with Initiative
The Digital Education for Young People with Initiative project is implemented by AFAD in Balti and funded by the Ministry of Education and Research, with co-funding from Orange Moldova.
The Digital Education for Young People with Initiative project is implemented by AFAD in Balti and funded by the Ministry of Education and Research, with co-funding from Orange Moldova. The aim of the project is to develop qualitative digital education for young people and train them for all walks of life under the impact of technological trends.
The project was launched in July 2022 and involves the organisation of 12 training programmes, followed by a competition of digital products developed by the beneficiaries participating in the digital training sessions.
The project has two aspects: digital training and practical application of the knowledge gained. The training programme has been structured in five areas: digital and information skills, communication and collaboration, creation of digital content, online safety, and the part of application of knowledge is the competition for young people to develop digital products for NGOs, institutions, businesses or personal brand.
Strengthening socio-economic resilience in the RM for vulnerable refugee women and girls from Ukraine and the local community affected by the crisis
The project is funded by UNWomen and is implemented between July 2023 and January 2024 in partnership with AFAD, HIAS Moldova, Casmed and FCPS. The aim of the project is to increase access to business skills development and entrepreneurship support opportunities for vulnerable women and girls, refugees from Ukraine and the local community.

The aim of the project is to increase access to business skills development and entrepreneurship support opportunities for vulnerable women and girls, refugees from Ukraine and the local community.
As a result of the implementation of the project 500 women and girls, in all their diversity, both refugees and local, especially the most vulnerable and affected by the crisis, will learn about the opportunities of the project, 100 will be trained and empowered in business and will become aware of the business start-up support opportunities offered. At least 50 young women and girls will develop a business concept and 20 will benefit from financial support to start an entrepreneurial activity for income generation.
