„Dulce Vis” in Falesti
Sweet business created by Alina Uncu, in the city of Falesti, who turned her passion for pastry into a successful home-based business. She produces desserts in a very varied assortment, tailored to the demands of her customers.
“I’ve always been passionate about pastry, initially preparing sweets for my family, then for friends, then for friends of friends, and I ended up taking up all my free time. So, I decided I wanted to grow up and create a business out of this hobby. Our desserts are created with dedication, love and pleasure, from natural products and according to our customers’ requests. Thanks to the funding and support of the Business Skills Hub I have believed in myself even more and now I’m really happy that I can realise my dream at home and contribute to the local community.”
In 2022, the entrepreneur applied to the grant competition held within the Business Skills Hub, funded by the European Union and co-funded by Sweden through the East European Foundation within the project “Civil society contributes to inclusive and sustainable economic development in the Republic of Moldova” and obtained funding in the form of equipment in the amount of 2567 euros: professional mixer, dough mixer and low temperature cabinet, necessary for the activity and development of her business. Thanks to the support provided, production volume and sales have increased significantly, and 2 new jobs have been created in the town of Falesti.
Alina is another real example that it is possible to do it at home. Alina’s business manages to serve customers not only from Falesti but also from other northern regions. “Dulce Vis” SRL is growing nicely, managing to open a small shop where customers can enjoy daily desserts created by Alina and her team. Plans for the future are grand, and Alina is confident in her results.
